Our Vision

About

We envision a world where Africa’s people and wildlife coexist and thrive in vibrant, healthy landscapes.

We're working to realize our vision through innovative efforts on the ground and unrivaled community engagement expertise that together drive effective, measurable, and lasting outcomes for communities and nature.

Our Guiding Principles

Our Theory of Change recognizes that by understanding the needs of both people and wildlife—and by learning together and investing in people—we create a collaborative working environment that balances the need for healthy ecosystems, stable wildlife populations, and prosperous communities.

Our 2030 Strategic Plan

We are collaborating with communities and partners to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges in the coming years by driving effective, measurable, and lasting outcomes for people and the planet – both in Tanzania and beyond.

We champion partnerships and believe people and organizations must join together to solve conservation challenges.

Empowerment

We mobilize and uplift our co-workers, partners, and fellow community members to inspire and motivate sustainable change.

Innovation

By evaluating existing practices, encouraging strong science, and learning from experience, we continually develop new models, tools, and concepts.

Respect

We embrace a diversity of opinions and ideas, and we treat our co-workers, partners, supporters, and fellow community members with dignity.
