Natural Resources Data Analyst
As a Natural Resources Data Analyst at Tanzania People & Wildlife (TPW), Estella Snowden supports the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Adaptation team to establish, develop, and maintain comprehensive systems for short- and long-term strategic planning. Her responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of materials and reports that analyze the activities, progress, and goals of TPW, supporting the transition to ArcGIS Online, and building staff capacity through the development of computer literacy trainings and materials.
Estella holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Kennesaw State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in biodiversity, wildlife, and ecosystem health with the University of Edinburgh. Estella began her career in conservation working with the Maui Invasive Species Committee in Hawaii and spent the last three years teaching in Kyrgyzstan and China. She is returning to a career in conservation and conducted her master’s research on mammalian use of roadways in proximity to protected areas.
